Radcliffe Mahogany Drum Table
Solid mahogany · Architectural drum form · Open column bays
The drum table is a form that has long appeared in traditional libraries and sitting rooms, valued for its quiet geometry and balanced proportions. Its circular structure allows the piece to occupy a room with presence while maintaining visual calm. The result is furniture that feels architectural rather than decorative.
The Radcliffe Mahogany Drum Table is crafted in solid mahogany and finished in a deep, hand-applied tone that highlights the natural movement of the wood grain. The cylindrical body is punctuated by open vertical bays, introducing rhythm and depth while lightening the visual weight of the drum form.
A grounded plinth base provides stability and proportion, while the generous round top offers a practical surface for books, lighting, or decorative objects. The restrained silhouette allows the table to integrate easily into both traditional and contemporary interiors while maintaining the quiet authority of well-made furniture.
“Craftsmanship is not only something to admire — it is something meant to be lived with.”

Placement
The Radcliffe table functions beautifully beside a sofa or lounge chair, where its circular form softens surrounding lines. It can also serve between two armchairs in a conversational seating arrangement or within a library where a compact surface is needed without sacrificing presence. Natural light reveals the warmth of the mahogany finish, while books, a lamp, or a small tray allow the table to anchor the space with quiet structure.
