Solid woods: oak, teak, walnut, ash and mango—kiln-dried for stability and chosen for distinctive grain.
Joinery: mortise-and-tenon, dovetails and pegged construction for strength that endures generations.
Finishes: hand-polished shellac, layered stains, tinted waxes and low-sheen lacquers for a tactile, time-honoured look.
Details: hand-turned legs, carved motifs, bevelled mirrors, inset panels, and solid brass or forged-iron hardware.
