On Material Integrity
In our studio, “heritage” refers to construction. We reject veneers in favor of solid mahogany, a dense, stable wood valued by cabinetmakers for centuries. It allows for precise carving and holds its geometry against the Bay Area’s shifting microclimates.
The Collected Home
We believe furniture should be collected, not purchased as a set. A cane-back bench or chair should sit naturally beside a modern sofa, a vintage rug, or clean architectural light. This approach lets homes in Saratoga and Los Gatos feel composed, not decorated.
