The Summer Garden Table Runner is a jacquard table runner made in the United Kingdom, from Reeva Sethi Home in Saratoga, California. It comes in two lengths, 33 and 45 inches, and is the finishing touch for a table dressed in the traditional English manner. The pattern is a country garden: blush roses, pale green leaves and touches of gold on a golden ivory ground, bordered by scrolling vines. Each end is finished with hand-tied tassels. The flowers are woven into the cloth on a jacquard loom rather than printed on it. The runner is lined in cotton, which gives it weight and lets it lie flat and drape cleanly over the table edge, and the tassels are cotton. Narrow by design, it is made for slim surfaces. The 33-inch runner fits a tea table, a hall console or a chest top; the 45-inch runner suits a sideboard or the center of a small dining table.
