Reeva Sethi Home
The Burgundy Rose Urn Wall Tapestry is a wall tapestry handwoven in the United Kingdom in pure New Zealand wool. A cherub holds up an urn of red and pink roses, white blooms and tulips, with a dog and a cat seated on brackets at either side, all framed in cream and gold scrollwork on a deep burgundy border, in the Aubusson style. At 57½ inches wide and 84 inches high, it fills the wall above a sofa, console or bed, or a stair landing. It is fully lined, with a rod pocket for hanging. Because each tapestry is woven by hand, color and detail vary slightly from piece to piece. From Reeva Sethi Home in Saratoga, California. 146 × 213 cm (57½″ W × 84″ H) · 100%.

Tapestries · Handwoven Wool
The Burgundy Rose Urn Wall Tapestry is a wool wall tapestry, 146 cm wide by 213 cm high (57½ × 84 inches), handwoven in the United Kingdom in pure New Zealand wool. It is offered by Reeva Sethi Home in Saratoga, California.
The design follows the floral tapestries of the French Aubusson workshops. At its center, a cherub holds up an urn overflowing with red and coral roses, white blooms, pale tulips and sprays of yellow and lilac flowers, resting on a stone ledge with navy scrollwork beneath. A dog and a cat sit on brackets at either side. Around the scene, a scrolled acanthus cartouche in cream, gold and dusty rose frames a cream ground, set on a deep burgundy border that gives the whole piece its weight and warmth on the wall.
